Act Now is a free, summer, educational theatre program for developing young actors who love and want to act. The goal of this years camp was to train performers to develop a believable character through acting techniques, scene study, and monologue development. Act Now Theatre camp is a community-based program.
The summer program has produced 4 dramatic Tales for the students to showcase their talent for family and friends and the public. Saturday, August 12, will show you how far they’ve come and how well they’ve honed their talents.

We are proud to present these short stories to you.

4 Dramatic Tales that have to come together nicely. They included; “Son of Samurai” – A young Soldier learns the meaning of obedience and service.
“Dog”- Two girls discover a hidden mystery in an old house.
“Try” – three brothers learn that hard work pays off.
“The Potato FArmer” – A Family struggles to make ends meet.
You’ll be amazed at the level of skills these fine young actors have worked hard to achieve. These shows are enjoyed by children and adults. Our very own Instructor, Anastasia Champlain, is the writer, director, and producer of these wonderful, inspiring, short stories. Guaranteed to have you hooting and hollering with a standing ovation. Please help support these wonderful programs and grab your tickets today. Adults are $10.00 and Children are $5.00.
