Phenomenal Pianist, Philip Martorella. Born in 1955 in Brooklyn, N.Y., Philip studied piano with many of the greats, Avraham Stemklar, Nadia Reisenberg, Eugenia Hyman, Sascha Gorodnitski and Adele Marcus and piano accompanying studies with Samuel Sanders. He currently serves as Minister of Music at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Greenwich, Rhode Island and organist at Temple Beth-El, Providence, Rhode Island. He formerly served on the piano faculty at St. George’s School in Middletown, Newport.
Due to the repeated requests, of our Patrons, for his return Philip will be gracing the Courthouse with another performance. Philip’s dedication and love of the Arts has him performing three consecutive performances for the Courthouse. Sunday, July 10 at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 17 also at 3:00 PM, and A Prince Tribute on Sunday, July 31 at 3:00 PM.
