An eclectic group… playing music from the past of a few genres. Dance, sing and enjoy this new bands second performance at the courthouse. The fact that they not only play music but hang out as the best of friends really adds to the chemistry of the Kenwood Crooks dynamics. On a regular Wednesday you can catch them all shooting pool at Whalers Brewery or jamming out in Dylan’s Kenwood Ave basement. The Dead Blues Society has taken them under their wings to show them the in’s and out’s of playing music at venues and more. Their music, an eclectic mix of the old and the new. Rhythmically inspired, they borrow their elements from Rock and Reggae. Studying the Grateful Dead’s music, they believe there’s a fair amount of information to glean from their dense repertoire. They are extremely excited to return to the Courthouse Stage and enthusiastically awaiting the trip out of the basement and onto the stage for a second night to perform for our rocking audience, or so they said, that the courthouse brings.
Opening for Kenwood Crooks is Free Couch. A Folk Rock band that performs mostly original music and are a collection of talented musicians from other area bands. Join in the fun… Come rock the house and enjoy these guys.. we do.
