Join us for a concert featuring the lyrics and music of Stephen Sondheim. Music 
will include solos and ensembles from Sunday in the Park With George, Into the 
Woods, Sweeney Todd, and West Side Story just to name a few. 

Fred Scheff has been a working performer for several years and has been teaching 
for quite some time. He is a proud second generation arts educator and parent to 
a new generation.  He began teaching voice while a graduate student at the 
University of Kansas. While there his studio included both KU and community 
students. Since his return to RI in the 90's his studio has grown. He is 
currently teaching on the faculty at RIC as well as his private studio, which 
includes students from PC, URI, various middle schools and high schools, as well 
as from the general community. His high school students have been accepted into 
programs across the country including USC, The Hart School, Westminster Choir 
College, UNH, BU, NEC, Boston Conservatory, Point Park of Pittsburgh, Belmont, 
Elon, Ole' Miss, RIC, URI and many others. He has students working in various 
aspects of the entertainment industry. Fred and his studio members are glad to 
be able to lend a hand to help support the Courthouse Center for the Arts.
