Amazing Teenager is putting it mildly.  Sixteen-year-old Massachusetts native Quentin Callewaert has been playing guitar since he was nine. He played his first concert when he was ten and has played at many events and venues since then. Quentin has performed in over 100 crowd pleasing shows in the last three years. Despite his young age, he has already shared the stage with many great guitarists such as Stephen Bennett, Pete Kennedy, Trace Bundy and Tommy Emmanuel.   Country music star Lyle Lovett saw one of his videos and was so impressed that he invited Quentin to come and meet him when he played on Cape Cod a few years ago.  They have met a few times since and it was Lyle who encouraged Quentin to start singing. Quentin has only been on the music scene for a few years now, but he’s creating a major buzz as one of the most gifted guitarists around. One look, one listen and it’s clear that Quentin is embarking on a very exciting journey. The director of the Larcom Theatre in Beverly, Ma. saw Quentin play and was so impressed, subsequently signed him to open for the Edgar Winter Group at that venue.  So far , 2017 has been a busy year for this young singer/guitarist, performing full shows in venues all across northern New England.  Quentin is equally phenominal performing solo, with his friend and amazing upright bass player Ken Steiner or full band with drummer Alan Beaulieu and saxophonist Zach Gorrell playing his favorite mix of guitar driven songs by the likes of the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Doc Watson and of course Tommy Emmanuel and Lyle Lovett to name but a few.   In order to find out how truly versatile and sensational this young musician is, you simply have to hear him play. After a most recent concert at the Rhumbline in Gloucester, Fly Amero the music director stated “the teen phenom strikes again. Quentin knocks us out every time with amazing guitar agility and a powerful positive spirit that bursts from his heart. The next generation (of musical performers) is clearly in good hands.”

Don’t miss this rising star….
