Meet Our Artists!
Pennacchia, A Native Rhode Islander, Michael has been shooting photos for a half-century, since he first borrowed a Kodak Duaflex II camera from his grandfather, Amadeo DeCristofaro. Thanks grandpa. He graduated to a Kodak Instamatic 100 with the innovative flashcube in the 60’s, then to 35 millimeters, mostly Nikons. Michael’s photos have appeared in The New York Times, New York Daily News, New York Post, Chicago Tribune, United Press International, Travel & Leisure, Travel Holiday, Yachting, People and more.
His first one-man show, “Latitude”, was held at NYC’s HLW Gallery in 1993, and his most recent show, “Living Color”, was exhibited at Pure Yoga in 2013 in NYC. His photos have also won awards in Rhode Island. This is his first show in Rhode Island! The Courthouse is extremely lucky to have Michael showing his work at our gallery.
