John DeRemer has been drawing and painting since he was a kid. To him, his art is full of surprises and he feels a sense of accomplishment when he finishes a painting, and gets excited to begin the next one. John loves when his paintings find homes where people will admire them for years to come. He loves spending time in the studio with fellow painter and friend, Eric Lutes.
Art collector Amy Barclay describes John’s work as “sultry and mysterious”, ” there is a stunning dynamic between his play of air against water. He captures the subtle tones of sunlight and sky and forces the colors against dark churning waters.”
This series is inspired by coastal living. You can practically smell the salt air when you look at them. Every new glance brings a different view.
