Anthony Geraci, acclaimed pianist, Hammond organist, and composer, was born in New Haven, CT, and began his musical journey at just four years old, showing an extraordinary passion that led his family to invest in his first piano. A Berklee College of Music graduate with further studies at Skidmore College, Anthony’s blues education was shaped by firsthand experiences with legends like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and Willie Dixon. Over the years, he’s had the honor of playing alongside icons such as Otis Rush, Chuck Berry, Big Mama Thornton, and Jimmy Rodgers.
Anthony’s solo career has earned him critical acclaim and numerous Blues Music Award nominations, including for Fifty Shades of Blue (2015) and Why Did You Have To Go (2019). His 2020 release, Daydreams in Blue, debuted at the top of several charts, and he won the Instrumentalist-Piano Blues Music Award in both 2021 and 2023. His most recent album, Blues Called My Name, has drawn high praise for its depth and homage to the blues masters, featuring renowned guests like Walter Trout and Ronnie Earl.
Anthony’s upcoming release, Tears in My Eyes, set for Spring 2024, promises yet another masterful chapter in his journey, with Trout describing it as “vital and beautiful art.”
