Saturday October 2 at 8:45pm. Join us in celebrating the music of an American treasure, October Road focuses on recreating the live arrangements of James Taylor and his All Star Band.

KEN MONTIGNY (guitar, vocals)
Ken has been a popular musician and song stylist in Southeastern Massachusetts for more than three decades as a solo artist and in well-known bands like Borderline, Voyage, Wiseguys and MGB. Well known for his spot-on performances of James Taylor’s smooth vocals, as well as his virtuoso guitar playing and skilled versatility on piano and keyboards, Ken brings a uniquely coastal New England flavor to his interpretations of Taylor’s classic songs.

DONN LEGGE (guitar)
Donn is a music educator at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School. A busy studio guitarist with a master’s degree in jazz guitar, Donn also performs regularly with local bands Blues Train, and the SouthCoast Jazz Orchestra. In October Road, Donn expertly recreates Michael Landau’s work across the James Taylor catalog.

DAVE PERRY (drums, percussion)
Known for precise timing and facility in many genres, Dave has been drumming professionally for 35+ years. He studied under well-known teacher Al Mello, and he’s played with area bands like Fury, Action, Gratitude, Silversmith, Chalice, and the Paul Lévesque Band. Dave counts Jeff Porcaro, Steve Smith and Dave Weckl as inspirations.

CHRIS GONSALVES (bass)
Chris has been a working musician since age 14 in New England bands like Royalty, Wayback Machine, Wiseguys and MGB. He’s also done several stints with touring bands in Florida including Little Eddie and the Fat Fingers and The Jack Stevens Band. A devotee of JT’s longtime bassists Jimmy “Flim” Johnson and Leland Sklar, Chris holds a specialist certificate in bass guitar from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

JOHN SOUZA (piano, keyboards)
Well known to music fans across southern New England, John lends his charismatic keyboard chops to October Road in the style of JT’s long-time piano player, jazz great Larry Goldings. Like Goldings, John is accomplished in a wide variety of musical styles, performing in a cornucopia of successful area bands such as New Shoes, Person To Person, Funhouse, Pearly Baker Band, Play By Play, Ricochet, and Perfect Strangers.

BRITTNIE CORREIRA (backing vocals)
Brit adds perfect harmonies to the many complex arrangements in JT’s songbook. Her ability to capture and recreate the talents of Kate Markowitz or Andrea Zonn shines through in every song. Brittnie is also featured during the October Road set singing hits from Carol King to pay tribute to the special bond between James and Carol.
